Ok - It's not that bad... Only I was sold this as a four star property and it cost me a bomb!
Initially I was put in an awful room that had a very nice view of the apartment opposite. The patio area out the front was just short of a building site with a 2 foot drop onto rubble and exposed irrigation pipes etc. I had upgraded my room in England for a two bedroom apartment and when I complained I was informed that this was the only 2 bedroomed place in the hotel. I promptly kicked up a fuss and managed to get a superior quality one bedroomed place over looking the sea which was quite nice. (This was the third room I was offered! Moral of the story - don't give up!)
Staff were friendly and helpful - cleaning staff came in and changed beds often for the children. Entertainment staff worked really hard, crazy hours and this made up for the lack of talent.
Food was recycled and A la carte was a joke but always found something to eat from the buffet. Only had tummy upsets for the first week and the kids only for a couple of days but Dioralyte was cheap from the supermarket over the road so it was all fine. (They also sold a nice tin of Heinz tomato soup and rooms had self catering facilities so if it all gets too much there's a low cost, gentle option!)
On site laundry facilities-seemed expensive
On site mini market -Way too expensive (Go over road)
Lots of sunbeds - With towels on from dawn
Nice clean pool - quite busy
Conclusion... If you like Butlins and sunshine, don't care too much about wildlife, have a good constitution and get this at a 2/3 star price you'll be chuffed to bits!
