So much to see and do and so little time to see it all: Churches, beaches, ancient sites, museums, The old fortress, the new fortress, watersports, bars, restaurants, coffee houses etc One can catch ferries to Italy, Kefalonia etc. Scenery is great if it's not raining. Dining out I would recommend The Tratamento, Filellinon 3,7 Corfu Old Town +30 26610 33267. It is about equidistant between Venetian Well and the Orthodox Cathedral A popular trip is from Corfu to Saranda in Albania ( an up and coming holiday destination), Similar sites of historical or natural interest.

Beautiful harbour areas between the two fortresses and along the coastal promenade area to the windmill. Lovely squares, parks and attractive Italian-style architecture in the quaint and bustling streets of the old town. A vibrant and interesting town with numerous restaurants, bars and traditional, touristy and modern shops. Great place to explore in is own right and as a centre to tour the island, with good bus services.

Absolutely beautiful I loved the Corfu old town market, mon repos beach, the palace, fort and water views. Corfu town also has Starbucks and really good restaurants which is not too expensive compared to some of them. I recommend Pan e souvlaki restaurant which is a few minutes walk from the Corfu old town market. You can also find lots of nice dessert places in Corfu town too.ParmjitUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

This is a picturesque Venetian town, reminiscent of Dalmatian or Italian coastal towns. There is a great, buzzing atmosphere, with lots of traditional shops, restaurants and cultural places to explore. With all the profits from tourism, I wish the Corfiot council would invest more money into the upkeep of the facades and infrastructure of the island. Also, there is a lot of litter around which could be easily managed if there were signs displayed and more bins provided. Do visit Rose's Vegan Patisserie with the best traditional (yet healthy) sweet treats ever!

Corfu Town is a joy to visit, with its worn, cobbled stone streets and Venetian architecture. I particularly enjoy meandering through there in the winter time, so much quieter and very atmospheric. Easter in Corfu is incredible! Lots of processions with brass bands, pot smashing, and lamb to be eaten. It’s unique.KateQatar - 8.0Scored 8.0

We only stayed overnight on the way back from Paxos. There are lots of sights and museums within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants . The taxi rank is opposite.

It is directly across from the old fortress, bus stop and taxi rank and we had a maximum of a 10 minute walk to get to any restaurant/place we wanted to get to in Corfu town! 2 beds upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. Water and tea and coffee making facilities were provided and aircon was working. Once the windows are closed though, it is quiet and one can sleep well if you aren't out having a nightcap with the town. Great living room! Very good place to relax as a family. The elevator is an incredible feature as well if stairs are difficult. 5 stars all around! Our host Angel was very communicative and responsive if we needed anything. I'd highly recommend the Liston suite!

Hotel is smaller and older, rooms are small and some things are not in the best conditions - like broken showerhead or squeeky bed, but everthing was clean and the stuff were always pleasant and helpfull. Meals (all inclusive) were in good standart. Twice a week there were greek or mexico cuisine dinners. Sundbeds around the pool were always available and path to the beach took 5 minutes.
